Hear me out on this one.

There are some really good underdogs out there today and I’m going to tie them to my favorite, "favorite."

That should give us a fantastic Thursday parlay that connects us to some of the best players in the game, because I know they will dominate for us.

I’ve given you some of these picks individually and I feel good about them today, so let's toss them together into a killer parlay and make some serious money.

You can find odds and put together this parlay at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best MLB Parlay Today

Padres vs. Rockies (+120)

Sure, Blake Snell has been hot lately, putting together some excellent starts over his past few outings. But I have some crucial information to share why it's not going to continue today.

Snell is pitching at Coors Field today, which is bad news for a few reasons. He has to face the Rockies, who are one of the best teams in the league against lefties with a team OPS near .800.

The second reason is a concerning high 31.9% fly ball rate. Now, it is okay to be a fly ball pitcher in San Diego and he got away with it at Dodger Stadium, but Coors Field will punish you. Snell has been striking out a lot of batters in those two outings, but the balls that do get put in play will cost him.

Dodgers vs. Cardinals (+141)

We stay out in the NL West for the second underdog of this parlay. Again, we're attacking a lefty in Tyler Anderson who is pitching for Los Angeles. Paul Goldschmidt is inarguably the best hitter vs. lefties this season; hitting .450 with an OPS north of 1.300. Goldy is good enough to carry the offense against Anderson, who has had a fantastic season.

St. Louis is also one of the best teams in baseball as a home underdog for the past decade and a half. This year they are 8-8 in that spot, and since the 2019 season they are one of just four teams with a winning record as a home dog.

Tigers vs. Guardians (-233)

Now, we reverse course and stray away from the underdogs for one of the biggest favorites today. Cleveland is a rightful favorite against Detroit, because the Tigers have Elvin Rodriguez on the mound.

In Rodriguez’s last two outings he has allowed 10 and eight runs with four and three home runs. He has been getting crushed and Jose Ramirez is set up to do the crushing. Ramirez is a fastball hitter and Elvin Rodriguez is a fastball pitcher who doesn’t have a good one.

MLB Parlay for July 14, 2022

The “Underdogs and Superstars” Parlay +658

  • Rockies (+120) vs. Padres
  • Cardinals (+141) vs. Dodgers
  • Guardians (-233) vs. Tigers

I feel confident about these underdogs today, so we can swing for the fences a little bit with this parlay. Sticking the underdogs with a huge favorite gives us some better odds, but make no mistake, these dogs are live.
