There's a ton of action on today's slate with a whopping 18 games scheduled, including three double-headers. What better way to spend a work day than with a parlay to carry us through the afternoon into the evening?

The BetSided team has you covered with previews for every matchup today, but there's a few games that are begging to be part of something bigger. These few, special games are determined to join forces and bring us a massive parlay cash.

Who am I to tell these games they can't band together and create something more impactful than they ever could individually?

I'm no monster, so let's not waste any more time. Here are today's best MLB parlay picks ready to bring you a huge payday:

Best MLB Parlay Picks

White Sox (-180) vs Royals Game 1

Woohoo, it's Dylan Cease day! Cease has been one of my favorite pitchers to back and although he's coming off his worst start of the season, he's well-positioned to bounce back against the Royals' inept offense today.

Kansas City let the ghost of Johnny Cueto mow it down last night and ranks 27th in OPS against right-handed pitchers this year. Cease ranks in the 97th percentile in expected batting average and 96th percentile in strikeout percentage while sporting a tidy 2.34 FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching). Back the White Sox to push the Royals to 1-8 over their last nine home games.

Tigers vs Rays Under 6.5 (-105)

Another day, another Tigers under. The best betting trend is baseball is 11-1-1 over the Detroit's last 13 games and should continue today. Beau Brieske hasn't allowed more than three runs in a single start and faces a Rays lineup that ranks 24th in OPS this month.

Shane McClanahan ranks in the 88th percentile in expected ERA and 98th in strikeout percentage as he's been stellar this year. He's coming off seven scoreless innings against the vaunted Angels offense and should have no problem handling the league's worst lineup. Back the best trend in baseball as the under improves to 13-3 in Tigers' road contests.

Marlins (-158) vs Nationals

We backed the Marlins yesterday and I'm going back to the well against Joan Adon, who ranks in the fourth percentile in expected ERA and has given up 15 runs in his last 16.2 innings. He's walked 10 batters in his last two starts and will have a tired bullpen backing him up after Aaron Sanchez didn't last through the fourth inning last night.

Marlins' starter Cody Poteet hasn't given up a run in over a month and ranks in the 98th percentile in barrel percentage and 95th in whiff percentage, so he's preventing hard contact while generating swings-and-misses at an elite rate. The Nationals have scored two or fewer runs in four of their last five games and should continue to struggle against Poteet and a Miami bullpen that has the fourth-lowest ERA in the National League.

Cubs (-137) vs Pirates/Under 7.5 (-110)

I took Chicago on the run line in my preview, but I'll learn from my mistakes the last couple of days and stick with the moneyline for the parlay. Pittsburgh's offense is disgusting right now and things won't get easier against Keegan Thompson and the excellent Cubs bullpen today.

JT Brubaker ranks in the 19th percentile in walk rate and Chicago averages the 10th-most walks per game in MLB, so they should be able to give Thompson enough run support to get the win. With how the Pirates offense is playing, one run may be all it takes. And despite scoring nine runs yesterday, the Cubs lineup still ranks 28th in OPS in May. Back the Cubs to win a low-scoring contest.
