Marcus Stroman OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-128)

Stroman has been on top of his game recently. He’s cleared this prop in three of his last four starts. He’s averaged 6.0 innings per start in his last three starts. He’s staying on the mound for a long time, giving him an advantage. Today, he’ll have to strikeout the toughest team in baseball. However, the Cardinals are middle of the pack in strikeouts over the last three games. Stroman should be able to take advantage of that and clear this with ease. – Donnavan Smoot

Zac Gallen UNDER 4.5 Hits Allowed (-110)

Zac Gallen has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, and he ranks in the 97th percentile in Expected Weighted On-Base Average, Expected ERA and Expected Batting Average Against this season.

Tonight, Gallen faces the lowly Kansas City Royals, who rank 23rd in MLB in OPS and 20th in hits so far this season.

Gallen has allowed over 4.5 hits in just two starts this season, and he’s allowed exactly two hits in five of his seven starts. I am going to keep backing Gallen until he cools off after a torrid start to the 2022 campaign. – Peter Dewey

George Kirby OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (+100)

Kirby has gone over this total in 1 of his 3 career starts, but he has faced stiff competition to date in the Mets, Rays and Red Sox. Now, he gets the lowly Athletics at home and I expect Kirby to look like the strikeout artist he has been touted to be. This is a low hurdle to clear and the A's are top 10 in strikeout rate this season. Back the rookie with confidence. – Reed Wallach

Dylan Cease UNDER 7.5 Strikeouts (+105)

Want to know how dominant Cease has been this season? In seven starts, he's hit the over on this strikeout prop in six of them.

Want to know something even crazier? In his last two starts, he's recorded 20 strikeouts over 9.2 innings.

Cease struck out eight Red Sox in five innings back on May 7 in Boston, and with the way the Red Sox are swinging the bat over their recent five-game win streak, I don't know if I expect Cease to go deep enough to hit the number he needs.

Boston's averaging just over seven runs per game since May 18, and if he finds himself in trouble early on, that could be the deal-breaker between going over or under. – Ben Heisler
