Best MLB Prop Bets Record to Date

  • MLB Best Prop Bets Record: 60-58-0

Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with odds coming from WynnBET and consensus lines.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Framber Valdez OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-115)
  • Diamondbacks-Cubs First 5 Innings UNDER 4.5 (-115)
  • Vince Valesquez OVER 4.5 strikeouts (+114)
  • Chicago Cubs Team Total UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts(-110)

Framber Valdez OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-115)

Valdez has found his stride over his last two starts. He’s gone over this line twice, but does have a tough matchup tonight against the Rangers. However, I’m backing Valdez because of what he did in the first matchup against Texas.

He struck out five batters the first time he faced him and only gave up one run. He had a good outing against the Rangers and I’ll be looking for one more strikeout. With strong momentum coming into this matchup, I like Valdez to be dominant at home.  – Donnavan Smoot

Diamondbacks-Cubs First 5 Innings UNDER 4.5 (-115)

The Chicago Cubs and Marcus Stroman will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks and Zac Gallen on Thursday, and I’m going to back both starters to pitch well tonight.

Gallen has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, posting a shocking 1.05 ERA. Gallen is in the 96th percentile in MLB in expected ERA, expected batting average against and expected weighted on-base percentage.

Simply put, he’s been dominant. His opponent, Stroman, hasn’t been as good this season, but he’s turned things around his last two starts, tossing 13 innings and allowing just two earned runs.

Both of these teams are in the bottom half of the league in OPS and runs scored this season. I think we are in line for a pitchers duel early in Chicago.Peter Dewey

Vince Valesquez OVER 4.5 strikeouts (+114)

The Royals started the season being one of the most disciplined teams at the plate, leading the Majors at one point in strikeout percentage. That hasn't been the case for the past two weeks, and we're starting to see some major regression from them in the strikeout department. They have a strikeout percentage of 30.3% over their last three games, which is third last amongst all MLB teams. Now they face White Sox starter, Vince Valedquez, who has surpassed this total in three of his six starts this season. I think we're getting tremendous value on him here at +114. – Iain MacMillan

Chicago Cubs Team Total UNDER 4.5 (-110) vs. Diamondbacks

I know the wind is blowing out at Wrigley Field tonight, but Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen is the perfect pitcher for Arizona to trot out.

Not only does he have a minuscule HR/9 of 0.26 this year, he’s got an ERA of 1.05 with an expected ERA (xERA) of 1.87. Only 2.6% of his fly balls have turned into home runs.

Even if one gets away from him in hitter-friendly conditions on the North Side, the Cubs rank seventh-lowest in baseball with just 29 home runs on the season.

I personally think the wrong team is favored in Chicago, and that only gives this team total an edge in our favor. — Ben Heisler
