Best MLB Prop Bets Today (Fade Both Starters' Strikeout Props for Dodgers vs. Mets in New York)
Our team came up just short in our two best props on Monday night, as Dylan Bundy of the MInnesota Twins came up one strikeout away from going over vs. the Boston Red Sox, while Miami Marlins starter Pablo López did one better than his projection; finishing with six strikeouts of the L.A. Dodgers and hitting the over on his 5.5.
Tonight, we're looking at a no-run-first-inning play between two very underrated starters in Arizona, while also targeting two unders in the Dodgers game in New York against the Mets.

Andrew Heaney UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts - Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets
Heaney may be coming off of two straight double digit strikeout performances, but that was against one of the worst lefty hitting teams in baseball in the Brewers. Now, he faces a Mets team that has the third lowest K rate over the last month and are elite at drawing walks.
The Mets work counts and will put pressure on the erratic Heaney to throw balls over the plate that they can put in play. This is right in line with the Dodgers’ starters season average, so I’ll go against it in a poor spot. – Reed Wallach

Taijuan Walker UNDER 3.5 Strikeouts - New York Mets vs. L.A. Dodgers
After a spectacular start and first half of the season, August has not been kind to the Mets right-hander; going just 14 innings with a 7.71 ERA and .394 weighted on-base average, or wOBA against him.
It won’t get easier vs. the L.A. Dodgers, who lead all of baseball in nearly every offensive category, but also only strike out 21.6% of the time.
Walker only strikes out 18.3% of hitters he faces, and only averages 6.06 K’s per nine innings at home this season. Considering that he’s only averaging less than 3.2 IP per start this month, that won’t get him to where he needs to go. – Ben Heisler

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks NRFI
Arguably the best pitching matchup in MLB on Tuesday is in the Philadelphia Phillies-Arizona Diamondbacks game, with Aaron Nola facing Zac Gallen.
Nola (3.08 ERA) is coming off a complete game shutout against the Cincinnati Reds, and he’s allowed one or fewer runs in four of his last five starts. Gallen has been just as impressive, pitching 27.1 consecutive scoreless innings, allowing just 12 hits over that stretch.
In the first inning this season, Gallen has a 1.50 ERA, allowing just four runs all season. Nola has been just as good, pitching to a 1.80 ERA, allowing just five first inning runs in 2022. Even though these offenses combined for 20 runs yesterday, this is too good of a pitching matchup to pass up. – Peter Dewey
