Guardians-White Sox First 5 Innings UNDER 3.5 (-110)

We have an elite pitching matchup in Chicago on Sunday, as Cy Young candidates Shane Bieber and Dylan Cease will face off in the Cleveland Guardians-Chicago White Sox matchup.

Cease has been terrific this season despite his All-Star snub, posting a 2.15 ERA and allowing one or fewer earned runs in 10 straight starts. His last outing before the All-Star break he tossed seven innings of one-hit ball against the Minnesota Twins.

As for Bieber, his FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) of 2.74 suggests that his 3.24 ERA has been a bit unlucky so far this season. However, he’s coming off arguably his best start of the season, a three-hit complete game, against these White Sox.

I trust both pitchers to keep this game low scoring, so I’ll back the first five UNDER and take the bullpens out of play. – Peter Dewey

Dylan Cease UNDER 7.5 Strikeouts (-155)

It's a chalky pick, but you can't pass up on taking the under strikeouts for a pitcher when he faces the Cleveland Guardians. Just like they have been all season, they remain the top team in discipline at the plate. They rank first in strikeout percentage at 18.4%, and have a strikeout rate of 13.2% over their last three games.

I feel confident laying the -155 juice on Dylan Cease recording fewer than eight strikeouts. – Iain MacMillan
