Best MLB Prop Bets Record to Date
- MLB Best Prop Bets Record: 70-65-0
Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with odds coming from WynnBET and consensus lines.
Best MLB Prop Bets Today
- Yu Darvish UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (+105)
- Drew Rasmussen UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (+105)
- Cristian Javier UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-135)
- Rich Hill UNDER 3.5 Strikeouts (+100)
- Ranger Suárez OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-105)
Yu Darvish UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (+105)
Darvish has missed this line in his last four games. On the season, he’s only cleared this in two of his eight starts. Going over five strikeouts is a plus for Darvish and the Padres, but it isn’t something they are counting on. Milwaukee has been one of the tougher teams to strikeout in the last three games, which includes two games against the Padres. I don’t know if Darvish gets here and I’ll once again take plus money on this prop. – Donnavan Smoot
Drew Rasmussen UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (+105)
The Tampa Rays will take on the Miami Marlins on Wednesday afternoon, and I’m fading one prop for Rays starter Drew Rasmussen.
Rasmussen’s strikeout prop is set at 4.5 in this game, and while he’s facing a Miami team that strikes out a lot, I don’t think he can clear 4.5 punchouts on Wednesday.
Rasmussen has made eight starts so far this season and cleared this prop just three times and has struck out 34 batters in 38.2 innings. He also has pitched into the sixth inning just twice this season, so I don’t love the opportunity here for him to rack up the punchouts. – Peter Dewey
Cristian Javier UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-135)
The Cleveland Guardians have taken over the best team in Major League Baseball in strikeout percentage. They strikeout on only 19.4% of their at bats, which is bad news for Cristian Javier as he gets set to take the mound for the Astros on Wednesday night. Javier has only surpassed five strikeouts in a single game once all season, so this is the perfect time to once again bet the under on his strikeout total of 5.5. – Iain MacMillan
Rich Hill UNDER 3.5 Strikeouts (+100)
We all know about the 42-year-old's nasty curveball, but the White Sox are set to tee off on Hill with their lineup that rakes against lefties, third in OPS this season. Hill only pitched 2 innings in his last start and could begin a downward trajectory after a hot start to 2022. This is a play based on both the matchup but also length if the Sox opt to go with Hill in an opener role and limit his strikeout chances. – Reed Wallach
Ranger Suárez OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-105)
The Braves lead the Majors in strikeout rate this season, and the number goes up when facing left-handed pitching! In 240 plate appearances vs. left-handers this season, Atlanta is striking out 27.5% of the time.
Suárez isn’t known to be a huge strikeout artist, with a K-rate of just under 20%, but he has cleared this number in three straight games, including in back-to-back starts against arguably the best team in baseball; the L.A. Dodgers.
Until the Braves start showing that they can make some consistent contact with their talented lineup, I’ll continue to fade them when the right pitcher is on the mound. – Ben Heisler
