Monday wasn't the ideal start we wanted, as we went 0-1 in our MLB prop picks with the second being voided due to Colorado Rockies slugger Kris Bryant joining the MLB Paternity List.

Today, Reed Wallach and I are back with our favorite MLB props for a monster 15-game evening slate this Tuesday.

Here are our favorite two props available on the board tonight. You can find them over at WynnBET Sportsbook, as well as consensus lines.

  • Jordan Lyles OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-115)
  • Guardians F5 UNDER 1.5 Runs (-110)

Jordan Lyles OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-115) - Baltimore Orioles at Chicago Cubs

Lyles has been pitching great for the surging Orioles, pitching at least six innings in his last four starts. While he has struck out four exactly in three of those four (seven in the other) I like him to go over against the Cubs, who are top five in strikeout rate since the beginning of July.

It's not too expensive to back Lyles in this market to slightly outperform his typical output in a favorable matchup.

Guardians F5 UNDER 1.5 Runs (-110) - Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Guardians

Similar to my thoughts on Max Scherzer on Monday, I'm predicting White Sox starter Dylan Cease to go out and shove in Game 2 of the White Sox doubleheader.

The most notable of the American League All-Star snubs has been outstanding all year, and enters tonight's matchup with a K/9 of over 13 per game, a 2.45 ERA, and has allowed only three earned runs since May 24. He's given up 12 runs since then, but for one night, I'll hope that this defense can bail him out like he's been bailing out the entire team all season.

Chicago also can't score right now, and with rumors of unrest in the clubhouse and the team continuing to fall further behind the Twins and Guardians in the AL Central standings, I at least know I can count on Cease to get his job done.
