Best MLB Prop Bets Record to Date

  • MLB Best Prop Bets Record: 18-25-0

Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with all odds via WynnBET:

Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Max Fried UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-105)
  • Joe Musgrove OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-160)
  • Carlos Rodón UNDER 8 Strikeouts (-115)
  • Tony Gonsolin OVER 4 Strikeouts (-105)

Max Fried UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-105)

Fried cleared this line in his last matchup, but that is just a good game. He missed it his first two starts and has a tough matchup against the Cubs today. Chicago strikes out at the 8th-lowest rate in the league, only striking out 8.00 times per game. Fried had a long outing against the Dodgers, going over seven innings. Don’t expect a second straight marathon game or a pile of strikeouts tonight.   – Donnavan Smoot

Joe Musgrove OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-160)

San Diego Padres starter Joe Musgrove is facing the worst team in MLB on Tuesday, as the Padres are in Cincinnati to play the Reds.

Cincy is averaging 9.38 strikeouts per game (good for 27th in MLB), and Musgrove has struck out six or more hitters in his first three starts of the year.

I love that Musgrove has also thrown at least six innings in all of his starts this season, meaning he should have plenty of chances to rack up some K’s against the horrible Reds offense. – Peter Dewey

Carlos Rodón UNDER 8 Strikeouts (-115)

The newly-signed left-hander has been superb at striking out batters in the early going for the Giants, racking up 29 punchouts in just three starts and clearing this prop in every game. But we've already seen this prop move from 8.5 down to 8, as Rodón has gone from 12, to 9 and then to 8 in his most recent start.

Right now, Rodón is averaging an absurd 15.4 K's per nine innings. His career average is just under 10.  He's also only gone five innings in two of his three starts this year, so I'm banking on this pace being unsustainable as his number keeps growing. – Ben Heisler

Tony Gonsolin OVER 4 Strikeouts (-105)

Tony Gonsolin isn't exactly a strikeout pitcher, having failed to compile four strikeouts in any of his three starts this season, but he has a good matchup to get it done tonight. He and the Dodgers will face the Diamondbacks, who have the third highest strikeout percentage in MLB, sporting a strikeout rate of 25.8%. With it being set at a flat number of four, I think we have a great chance to at least push this bet. I'll take the over and hope Tony racks up some Ks against this Arizona lineup. – Iain MacMillan
