The New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians are the final teams that still need to decide their divisional series.

The Guardians can close it out tonight against the Yankees, and earn the right to advance to the ALCS to face the Houston Astros.

With just the one game on the board tonight, let's toss together a same game parlay!

Yankees vs. Guardians ALDS Game 4 Same Game Parlay

  • Guardians +1.5 (-134)
  • Gerrit Cole UNDER 6.5 Strikeouts (-164)
  • Steven Kwan to record a hit (-200)
  • NRFI (-150)

Guardians +1.5 (-134)

The Guardians already have the series lead, and for us to cash this leg of the parlay, they just need to keep it close. I feel especially confident about this play with Cal Quantrill pitching for the Guardians. Cleveland is 16-2 in Quantrill's last 18 starts.

Gerrit Cole UNDER 6.5 Strikeouts (-164)

The Guardians had the best strikeout rate in Major League Baseball this season, striking out on just 18.2% of plate appearances. Cole racked up eight strikeouts in Game 1 against the Guardians, but I don't envision a repeat performance today. Cleveland's strikeout rate is too good to not take the UNDER.

Steven Kwan to record a hit (-200)

The Guardians rookie, Steven Kwan, has been fantastic for Cleveland in the lead-off spot this season. He sports a .298 batting average, and has six hits already this series. I think tossing him into the parlay to record a seventh hit is an easy addition to the wager.

NRFI (-150)

Cal Quantrill is a fantastic first inning pitcher, sporting a 1.69 ERA in the first inning this season. Meanwhile, Cole has admittedly been bad in the first inning in 2022 with an ERA of 4.91, but the Guardians are averaging only 0.53 runs in the first inning.

With this being an extremely important games for both teams, I think we're going to see a defensive struggle early.
