We've entered the final three days of the NBA's regular season, and there are some huge matchups taking place for the Western Conference playoff picture.

The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Phoenix Suns, and the team needs a win to stay in the mix for the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. One of the teams that Los Angeles is competing with for that spot, the Golden State Warriors, takes on the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento.

That could be problematic given the Warriors' struggles on the road this season, which certainly leaves the door open for the Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers to make a jump in the standings.

Also in the West, the Dallas Mavericks need a win to have a shot at the No. 10 seed after the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Utah Jazz on Thursday night. If Dallas loses, it will be eliminated from postseason contention, since it will be one game back of OKC and doesn't hold the tiebreaker between the teams.
