The No. 1 seeds in the Eastern and Western Conference are both in action Monday in the NBA, and it's two teams we always expected, the Boston Celtics... and the Utah Jazz?

Utah has surprised everyone, starting this season with a 12-6 record and winning back-to-back games heading into tonight's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers welcomed Kawhi Leonard back into the lineup last week, and he's played well in a limited role, helping the team move to the No. 7 spot in the West with a 10-7 record.

In the Eastern Conference, each of the top four seeds are in action, with the No. 3 Atlanta Hawks taking on the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavs are fresh off a blowout win over the shorthanded Miami Heat on Sunday, while the Hawks won on arguably the best final play design you will ever see on Saturday night.

While these teams duel for the No. 3 spot, Boston takes on the Chicago Bulls and DeMar DeRozan, who are off to a slow start in the 2022-23 season. Boston is looking to hold the top spot in the East over the Milwaukee Bucks, who host the Portlant Trail Blazers on Monday.

Led by Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons, the Blazers are third in the West through the first month or so of the season. It's been a big bounce back after the team was in the lottery last season.
