Are you ready for professional basketball nirvana?
Every NBA team is in action this Monday, with a full 15-game slate spread out tipping off every 15 minutes beginning at 7 p.m. ET this evening when the Charlotte Hornets host the Washington Wizards.
The league has all 30 teams in action this Monday in an effort to raise awareness for Election Day this Tuesday, November 8. No games will be played tomorrow as a result.
So which games on the gigantic slate should bettors have their eye on this evening?
For starters, eight teams are on the second leg of a back-to-back today: Chicago, Toronto, Cleveland, Memphis, Washington, Utah and both L.A. teams all played on Sunday. In a very small sample size, Cleveland and Toronto are a combined 2-0 against the spread (ATS) with no rest this season.
A season ago, the Wizards finished with the fourth-best ATS record in the league on second legs of back-to-back games, going 8-5-1 vs. the number. However, they will not have star guard Bradley Beal available after he entered the league's Health and Safety protocol.
One of the most compelling matchup of the night features the Phoenix Suns on the road vs. the struggling Philadelphia 76ers.
Via NBA.com, Booker's scoring average of 29.7 points in 14 games against Philadelphia are up with the likes of Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor. Booker is projected for 26.5 points as of Monday morning across multiple sportsbooks.
