The Philadelphia 76ers, fresh off a loss to the Boston Celtics, come home to face the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee will be without Khris Middleton, who’s dealing with a wrist injury, but they still have the best player in the world in Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

Milwaukee and Philadelphia had great games last season and are set to give us another fantastic matchup. Without any more talk about the buildup to this game, let’s dive right into props. 

Bucks vs. Sixers Best NBA Prop Bets

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points
  • Joel Embiid OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Tyrese Maxey OVER 18.5 Points

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points

Giannis has dominated the Sixers in recent years. He averaged over 34 points per game against them last season, even scoring 40 once. With Khris Middleton out, even more scoring responsibility will be on the Greek Freak. Philadelphia doesn’t have immense depth at the center position, so if the Bucks go small, they could be in some trouble.

Also, if Embiid moves on defense the way he did  on Tuesday, Antetokounmpo might go for 40 again.

Joel Embiid OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

The Bucks’ defensive game plan is to protect the paint and allow the worst 3-point shooters to take shots. While Embiid is a good shooter, Milwaukee would rather him take the shot than Maxey, Harden or Harris.

Last season, Embiid went 6-for-9 from 3 against the Bucks. They’d rather he beat them from outside than dominating in the paint all day. Embiid took six treys in the first game of the year. With that volume and the impending scheme, I love this at plus money.

Tyrese Maxey OVER 18.5 Points

Maxey cleared this line in two of the three games against the Bucks last season. He cleared this line in the first game of the season too, and is set to do it again.

Maxey wasn’t too involved in the offense against the Celtics – as James Harden decided to take over. However, I’m expecting a little bit of regression from Harden on the scoring side, which means that Maxey will have space to operate as a scorer. If he can get a few 3-pointers off early, he’ll be on his way.
