Best NBA Prop Bets for Clippers vs. Lakers (Trust Kawhi Leonard In His Return)
The Los Angeles Clippers open their season against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Clippers are whole for the first time in over a year, with Kawhi Leonard returning and are ready to get back to the postseason.
As for the Lakers, we’re all wondering where they go from here. Game 1 was a disaster and it was clear this isn’t a championship team. Can they pull it together against the Clippers or is another blowout on the way?
Clippers vs. Lakers Best NBA Prop Bets
- Kawhi Leonard OVER 21.5 Points (-110)
- Anthony Davis UNDER 0.5 3-Pointers (+110)
- Russell Westbrook OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-125)
Kawhi Leonard OVER 21.5 Points (-110)
Leonard hasn’t played in a long time, but come on. This is an invitation to bet the OVER. Leonard isn’t going to take bad shots. He’s going to get to his spots and rise up over the defense. There is also no question who the No.1 option on this team is.
With his defensive prowess, he might even get a few points in transition tonight. This line should be a little higher, but I’ll gladly take it.
Anthony Davis UNDER 0.5 3-Pointers (+110)
Since the bubble, Davis has become a worse and worse shooter every season. Last season, Davis shot under 20% from downtown. While he put up 3 against the Warriors, his percentages are just too low for me to back. If he does get going tonight, it’ll be against Ivica Zubac on the interior.
Russell Westbrook OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-125)
Westbrook grabbed 11 rebounds in the first game and I’ll trust him again. He looked better in Game 1 than he did all last season, with his signature hustle on display. The Clippers – even with Kawhi Leonard back – are still small in the frontcourt. The Lakers are also going to miss a lot of shots, so the opportunities for offensive rebounds are going to be there.
