Looking for some NBA prop bet plays for the two games on Thursday night?

The BetSided team has you covered, as we've gone 7-3 through the first two days of the 2022-23 season.

How should you bet LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo on Oct. 20? Here's how our editors are leaning for the Los Angeles Lakers-Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers-Milwaukee Bucks games:

Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • LeBron James OVER 44.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (+105)
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points (-135)
  • Grayson Allen OVER 10.5 Points (-115)

LeBron James OVER 44.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (+105)

LeBron isn’t slowing down, as he put up 31 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists (54 PRA) in the Lakers’ season opener.

I may not believe in the Lakers, but I won’t fade James, especially when he’s healthy early in the season. If Los Angeles is able to hang around in this game, James is going to be the driving force, whether it is passing the ball or scoring himself.

The Clippers have wings they can throw on James, but they lack rim protection outside of Ivica Zubac. Also, it’s LeBron James. I like the OVER after his impressive season opener.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 30.5 Points (-135)

Giannis has dominated the Sixers in recent years. He averaged over 34 points per game against them last season, even scoring 40 once. With Khris Middleton out, even more scoring responsibility will be on the Greek Freak. Philadelphia doesn’t have immense depth at the center position, so if the Bucks go small, they could be in some trouble.

In every game last season, the OVER hit. Although both teams are good on defense, there’s going to be a lot of points scored in this one. Expect Giannis to be at the forefront of the scoring. I got this line at 30.5, but I would play it up to 32.5 – and maybe even look at his points and rebounds line for the night.

Grayson Allen OVER 10.5 Points (-115)

I can't stand Grayson Allen, so if I'm going to be forced to watch him play basketball on a standalone game, I might as well make some money off of what he does best.

Khris Middleton remains out for the Bucks which raises Allen's usage rate significantly. Via FantasyLabs' NBA On/Off tool, Allen owned a 15.6 USG% a season ago, averaging 14.7 PTS. With Middleton off the court, Allen's PPG went up to 18.5 along with his USG% jumping to just below 20% (19.1).

He becomes an even more key outside shooter for Milwaukee, who plays at one of the fastest paces in the NBA, giving him more looks, and more opportunities to score.

This number opened at 9.5 is already up to 12.5 at several sportsbooks. While I prefer it at 10.5 or even 11.5, there's still value at 12.5 even if you're late to the party.
