Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Jayson Tatum UNDER 28.5 Points (-115)
- Darius Garland UNDER 7 Assists (-115)
- Dennis Schröder OVER 4.5 Assists (-105)
Jayson Tatum UNDER 28.5 Points (-115)
Jayson Tatum hasn’t shot the ball well this season, currently posting a field goal percentage of 42.2 percent while shooting 32.8 percent from beyond the arc.
Tatum’s number seems to be juiced because the Cleveland Cavaliers have several players out, but Cleveland also plays at a bottom-10 pace and may try and muck this thing up since it is short handed.
Tatum has cleared this number just once in his last five games after a hot stretch earlier this month, and he put up 21 and 23 points in his first two games against the Cavs this season.
Dennis Schroder is back to take shots away from Tatum (kidding, but not completely), and Tatum is averaging just 25.9 points per game this season. Give me the under. – Peter Dewey
Darius Garland UNDER 7 Assists (-115)
Darius Garland is averaging 7.3 assists this season, a career high, but I don't think he's going to reach seven tonight when the Cavaliers head to Boston to take on the Celtics.
First of all, he hasn't reached seven assists in three straight games, and now he's facing a Celtics team that is allowing the third fewest assists per game 21.8. Boston also ranks fourth in opponent assists per possession at 0.213. I'll take a chance at the under on his assists total tonight. – Iain MacMillan
Dennis Schröder OVER 4.5 Assists (-105)
Schröder and the Celtics host the short-handed Cavaliers tonight without Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Issac Okoro on hand, giving Boston a unique opportunity to get some easier looks inside.
Schröder should log meaningful minutes with seven of his teammates in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, and with extended minutes at the point comes more opportunities to distribute.
With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown back in action, look for both to be more aggressive going towards the basket without the massive size of Mobley and Allen in the middle to clog the lane.
Schröder has gone under in his last two games, but he’s also had limited minutes in both as well. They’ll need his presence on the court tonight, but more so as a facilitator. – Ben Heisler
