Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with all odds via WynnBET:

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Bobby Portis OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-125)
  • Kyrie Irving OVER 25.5 Points (-120)
  • Joel Embiid UNDER 32.5 Points (-125)

Bobby Portis OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-125)

Bobby Portis is averaging 9.1 rebounds per game, and today he and the Bucks take on the Clippers, who rank 27th in the NBA in rebounding percentage, grabbing just 48.6% of boards. So, why is his rebounding total set at only 7.5 for tonight's game?

It's likely due to the fact that he hasn't gone over this number in five straight games. While that may seem worrisome, you'll see what that's the case if you dig into those games a little bit closer.

In three of those five contests, he played 27 or fewer minutes, largely due to them being blowouts. He recorded six boards in a 15-point win over the Knicks, five in a 36-point loss to the Nuggets, and four in a 29-point win over the Trail Blazers.

The last two games he played in that were single-digit decisions, he recorded 13 and 12 total rebounds. With tonight's spread being set at four points, I'm expecting a closer game, and for Portis to rebound in the rebounding department. – Iain MacMillan

Kyrie Irving OVER 25.5 Points (-120)

Kyrie Irving has struggled in his last two outings, scoring a combined 29 points on 11-of-35 shooting, but he’s due for a bounce-back in Sunday’s matchup with the Denver Nuggets

The Brooklyn Nets will be without guard James Harden in this game, which means all of the offensive burden is going to land on Irving.

In the 2021-22 season, Irving is averaging 22.8 points per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.

He’s cleared this number in five of 11 games, but all five have come in his last eight contests. Denver may throw everything at Kyrie, but he’s going to have to score if the Nets want any hope of staying in this game. – Peter Dewey

Joel Embiid UNDER 32.5 Points (-125)

Today's matchup for Joel Embiid against Nikola Vucevic should look good on paper, but Embiid's scoring prowess in his MVP-campaign has actually taken a back seat the last few games.

What's been the key is teams adjusting their defense against the Sixers, including into more zone coverage. Both Embiid, as well as Seth Curry have admitted postgame that they've had issues at getting better offensive looks, an issue that largely stems at their slow pace this season (third-slowest in the league).

Embiid will get his, but especially with the Bulls needing all the help they can get defensively without the services of Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, expect Billy Donnavan to use a heavy use of zone, forcing Embiid to pass out and find open shooters. -- Ben Heisler
