Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Kevin Durant UNDER 27.5 Points (-110)
- Evan Mobley OVER 7.5 Rebounds (+100)
- Ivica Zubac UNDER 8.5 Total Rebounds (-120)
Kevin Durant UNDER 27.5 Points (-110)
Kevin Durant is averaging 27.3 points per game this season, but now he's facing the best shooting defense in the NBA through the first handful of games. The Miami Heat are first in opponent shooting percentage at 39.3 percent.
KD is arguably the best scorer in the league, but with his point total for tonight's game being set at the same number as his season average for points per game, I'll bet on him having a below average shooting game against the top shooting defense in the association. -- Iain MacMillan
Evan Mobley OVER 7.5 Rebounds (+100)
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft has impressed so far this season, scoring in double figures in all four of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ games this season.
Tonight, Mobley faces a Los Angeles Clippers team that is 22nd in the NBA in opponent rebounds per game, allowing 49.3 per game. If the Clippers try to go small, Mobley should dominate the glass, and he’s proven to be matchup proof, playing 33.0 minutes per game so far this season.
Mobley has totaled nine, five, 11 and eight rebounds in his first four games, and I love that you can get him at plus odds to go over 7.5 in this matchup. -- Peter Dewey
Ivica Zubac UNDER 8.5 Total Rebounds (-120)
Back in the day, and by day, I mean last season, you could always count on an easy rebounding day against the Cavaliers. They took inefficient shots, didn't box out, and always seemed to get waxed on the glass.
This year it's different. With the length and athleticism of Jarrett Allen, along with Evan Mobley, Cleveland is starting to improve in their defense, holding good teams like the Hawks and Nuggets to 95 and 87 points in their last two games; both wins.
As for Ivica Zubac, the 8.5 rebounds feels far too inflated for someone only averaging 20.3 minutes per game along with 6.3 boards. The Clippers share the love on the glass and if Cleveland continues it's recent defensive prowess, I have a difficult time seeing Zubac in limited minutes get all the way to nine.
I'll happily take the under 8.5 at WynnBET tonight. -- Ben Heisler
