Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Celtics vs. Suns (Value on Assist Props for Devin Booker, Malcolm Brogdon)
By Peter Dewey
The Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns have a huge matchup in primetime on Wednesday night, as both teams are atop their respective conferences entering this game.
Betting props for nationally televised games is one way to make them even more intriguing, and with Chris Paul back for the Suns, there could be some value on certain players tonight.
Here are three props that I’m considering for this matchup on Wednesday:
Celtics vs. Suns Best NBA Prop Bets
- Malcolm Brogdon OVER 3.5 Assists
- Al Horford UNDER 6.5 Rebounds
- Devin Booker OVER 4.5 Assists
Malcolm Brogdon OVER 3.5 Assists
Grabbing Malcolm Brogdon at plus money to go OVER this number is a steal, especially when you look at his recent games.
Brogdon has cleared 3.5 dimes in six of his last nine games and is averaging 3.7 dimes per game this season.
He’s playing in an offense that is No. 1 in the NBA in 3-point shooting and offensive rating. There should be plenty of chances for Brogdon to contribute passing the ball tonight.
Al Horford UNDER 6.5 Rebounds
Al Horford hasn’t cleared 6.5 rebounds in seven straight games, and now he’s taking on a Suns team that is fourth in the NBA in rebounding percentage this season.
This hasn't been only a recent issue for Horford, as he’s grabbed seven or more boards in just six of his 20 games in the 2022-23 campaign.
With Deandre Ayton posting one of the best rebounding stretches of his career, I’ll fade Horford at this line.
Devin Booker OVER 4.5 Assists
Devin Booker may have less playmaking duties with Chris Paul back, but he’s still averaging 5.9 assists per game this season and has cleared 4.5 dimes in 18 of 24 games.
Boston may try to force the ball out of Booker’s hands with less scoring threats on the Suns’ roster with Cameron Johnson out, so he could push his season average in assists tonight.
At plus money, both he and Brogdon are worth a shot.
