Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Grizzlies vs. Blazers (Anfernee Simons, Dillon Brooks Could Score Big)
By Peter Dewey
The Memphis Grizzlies have lost back-to-back games to the Utah Jazz and are looking to right the ship on Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Blazers are 5-1 on the 2022-23 season, even though they were without Damian Lillard due to a calf injury in their last game.
With Dame out, is there any way we can take advantage in the prop market? Here are my three favorites for this primetime game:
Grizzlies vs. Blazers Best NBA Prop Bets
- Anfernee Simons OVER 24.5 Points
- Dillon Brooks OVER 17.5 Points
- Jerami Grant UNDER 4.5 Rebounds
Anfernee Simons OVER 24.5 Points
Damian Lillard (calf) is going to miss another game on Wednesday, which means Anfernee Simons is going to see an extended role on offense.
Simons is already one of Portland’s best scorers, and he put up 30 points on 20 shots in his last game. He’s cleared this line in two of his last three matchups, and now he gets to play a Grizzlies team that is dead last in the NBA in defensive rating.
I love his OVER tonight.
Dillon Brooks OVER 17.5 Points
Desmond Bane is questionable for this game, which could mean an expanded role for Dillons Brooks, who has taken 20 and 16 shots over the last two games, scoring 30 and 19 points.
The usage will be there for Brooks regardless of his role, as he’s taken at least 12 shots in every game this season. Memphis loves to run, leading to a ton of possessions.
If Bane is out, this is value line for Brooks.
Jerami Grant UNDER 4.5 Rebounds
Jerami Grant is averaging just 4.0 rebounds per game this season, clearing this number in two games.
The Grizzlies are a great rebounding team, ranking seventh in the NBA in rebounding percentage.
Until Grant shows more consistency to clear this line, I’ll fade him as a rebounder for Portland.
