Last season, this was the No. 1 seeded Suns vs. the No. 8-seeded Pelicans in the playoffs. Yet, they seemed to have caught up to each other over the offseason, which makes this matchup that much more interesting.

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of injuries on the Pelicans side that makes this matchup have a lot of unknowns. With that in mind, we’re going to target the prop market from the Suns’ perspective.

Best Prop Bets For Pelicans-Suns

  • Chris Paul UNDER 26.5 PRA
  • Mikal Bridges UNDER 12.5 Points
  • Cameron Johnson OVER 4.5 Rebounds

Chris Paul UNDER 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Paul finally had a good game in his last time out, recording 16 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. However, of his 16 points, 12 of them came from threes. Prior to that game, Paul was shooting 9% from downtown on the year. Obviously, he’s going to finish somewhere in the middle, but the point is that Paul hasn’t been great this year. With his nemesis Jose Alvarado on the other side to bother him all night, bet on regression from CP3.

Mikal Bridges UNDER 12.5 Points

Bridges is another candidate for regression tonight. He scored 17 points last game while shooting 7-for-8 from the field. That’s not going to happen again. Bridges is a good player, but expect him to fit back into his role as a defender after a big night. Bridges has only cleared this line when he’s gone at least 50% from the floor. If he’s not on his A-game tonight, I like the UNDER.

Cameron Johnson OVER 4.5 Rebounds

Johnson had his best game of the season last time out, and I think it’s safe to back him on the boards tonight. He’s cleared this line in his last two games. While Johnson isn’t known for his rebounding, I like this prop because he’s getting offensive rebounds too. He’s gotten at least one offensive rebound in his last three games, which raises the ceiling for this prop. With Ingram out – and potentially Zion Williamson – there’s going to be a lot of chances for the Suns to crash the glass tonight.
