The Atlanta Hawks are slight underdogs on the road on Monday in a Halloween night matchup with the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors come into this game at 3-3 on the season, but they have one of the better defenses in the NBA to harass Trae Young and Dejounte Murray tonight.

I made a pick for this game here, but there are three props that I am also considering for Monday’s matchup:

Hawks vs. Raptors Best Prop Bets Today

  • Onyeka Okongwu OVER 11.5 Points and Rebounds
  • Scottie Barnes UNDER 7.5 Rebounds
  • Fred VanVleet UNDER 17.5 Points

Onyeka Okongwu OVER 11.5 Points and Rebounds

Onyeka Okongwu has cleared this total in five of his six games so far this season, and at times he’s looked like the team’s better option at center to Clint Capela.

With the Raptors sporting their massive length and size in the frontcourt, Okongwu is going to be called upon to make some plays for Atlanta.

With Trae Young and Dejounte Murray dishing the ball, he should get some easy looks in this matchup to help clear this number.

Scottie Barnes UNDER 7.5 Rebounds

Scottie Barnes does it all for Toronto, but I think his rebounding prop is a bit inflated tonight, especially since Toronto (29th in pace) loves to slow games down.

Barnes has cleared 7.5 rebounds just one time all season, and now he takes on an Atlanta frontcourt with two elite rebounders in John Collins and Capela.

While he should grab his fair share of boards, Barnes is averaging just 5.6 this season. I’ll fade his total tonight.

Fred VanVleet UNDER 17.5 Points

It’s been a slow start to the season for Fred VanVleet, who has only cleared this number twice in six games and is coming off an 0-for-11 shooting night against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The bigger concern for me is FVV’s usage, as he’s taken over 15 shots just once all season long after averaging 16.9 field goal attempts per game last season.

If this trend continues, he’s going to have a hard time scoring in the high teens and low 20s unless he shoots an insane percentage from the floor.
