Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 16.5 Points (-125)

Going with a familiar name here in JJJ on the surging Grizzlies. In the small sample since Ja Morant went down with a knee injury, Jackson has taken on a heightened role on offense, posting point totals of 25, 27 and 13 over the three games.

Now, he matches up with a banged up Heat team that will be down Bam Adebayo for this one, which directly affects JJJ offensively, as Adebayo would be guarding him. I expect the Miami defense to take a step back that is more than six points worse per 100 possessions on that end with their big on the floor.

Jackson is averaging 12 field goal attempts, nearly half of them coming from beyond the arc, so I'm going to keep riding this bet until the market adjusts to his increase in usage. -- Reed Wallach

Steph Curry OVER 28.5 Points (-115)

Steph Curry and the Warriors are 16-point favorites against a young Orlando Magic team that really struggles on the defensive end this season. Orlando is 26th in the NBA in defensive rating, is allowing 110.5 points per game and opponents average 13.2 made 3-pointers per game against the Magic this season.

This sets up as a great spot for Curry, whose points prop at WynnBET is at 28.5 (Over -115/Under -125) to hit the over tonight. Steph is still averaging 27.5 points per game and has gone over this number in eight games this season.

Curry has struggled shooting the ball as of late, going 4-for-21 in a loss to the Phoenix Suns and 7-for-28 in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

However, it’s worth noting that both Phoenix (No. 2 in defensive rating) and San Antonio (No. 10 in defensive rating) are far superior defensive teams than Orlando. Curry dropped 32 points on the league’s worst defense, the Portland Trail Blazers, just a few games ago, and there’s no reason to believe that he can’t find his form again at home tonight.

Five of Steph’s eight games going over 28.5 points have come at Chase Center this season, and he’s shooting better from the field (45.1 percent vs. 41.4 percent) and from 3 (41.5 percent vs. 40.2 percent) when playing in Golden State.

The usage will be there, so I’m trusting Steph to get back on track in a cupcake matchup tonight. -- Peter Dewey

Darius Bazley OVER 8.5 Points (-116)

When Darius Bazley looks good, the 21-year old shows impressive flashes that make him look like a solid to high upside rotation player for years to come in OKC.

When he’s bad, however, he’s really bad.

After averaging almost 12 points and seven rebounds a game through the first 11 games, he’s gone all the way down to 5.3 points/6.0 rebounds; shooting just above 24% in his last 11.

Regardless, he may be starting to turn the corner, with his head coach Mark Daigneault showing plenty of signs that he remains confident in Bazley, and a matchup versus the Detroit Pistons is a great place to get back on track. This is also coming off a 15 minute stinker where OKC lost 152-79 vs. the Grizzlies.

I buy the Thunder to come out a tad bit more inspired than what we saw last time out, and Bazley’s usage should be a large part of it. -- Ben Heisler
