Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Bruce Brown OVER 1.5 3 Pointers (+230)
- Kevin Durant to Hit 3+ 3-Pointers (+105)
- Jaylen Brown OVER 25.5 Points (-120)
- Jalen Brunson OVER 3.5 Assists (-130)
Bruce Brown OVER 1.5 3 Pointers (+230)
Back to the well, Brown has become a capable 3-point shooter in the second half of the season. He's taking about 2.5 3-pointers per game and hitting on 47% of them! Just last night Brown hit all three of his shots from the perimeter, and now the Nets face a must-win situation against cross-river rival New York Knicks.
The Knicks are going to key in on Kyrie Irving (42 points on Tuesday) and Kevin Durant (53 last time these two teams met), and Brown is going to be left open in the corner to make the NYK pay. +230 to hit two 3s? Keep cashing in on Brown, who is not the same perimeter player from earlier in the season. – Reed Wallach
Kevin Durant to Hit 3+ 3-Pointers (+105)
Kevin Durant has hit this line in four of his last four games and has cleared this line against the Knicks this season as well.
Durant is starting to incorporate more treys into his game, taking 6.2 3-pointerss per game over the last 10 games. With the way the Nets have been relying on Durant to score from everywhere, this seems like a good spot to back Durant. Brooklyn needs to win out, so there isn’t going to be any resting of stars tonight. – Donnavan Smoot
Jaylen Brown OVER 25.5 Points (-120)
Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics are seven-point road favorites against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, and I think we’re getting a bit of value on JB against a Bulls team that is 25th in defensive rating over its last 10 games.
Brown has cleared 25.5 points in eight of his last nine games, and he’s taking an average of 19.0 shots per game over that stretch, shooting 56.7 percent from the field. That volume alone is enough for me to bet on Brown, but he’s also gotten to the line an average of 5.3 times per game as well.
The Bulls are also on a back-to-back after getting trounced by the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. Give me the over for Brown to stay hot tonight.
Jalen Brunson OVER 3.5 Assists (-130)
The former Villanova star is going to get PAID this offseason; setting career highs in his fourth year in points, rebounds, free throw percentage, and more notably for tonight's sake, assists.
The matchup against the Pistons tonight is intriguing for many reasons; but also in part because of Detroit's reported interest in acquiring the Mavericks guard.
With Dallas just one game back of Golden State of the 3-seed (although they may want to sit tight and play the Jazz instead of the Nuggets), Brunson and Doncic could put on a show in Detroit. The Pistons have been a remarkable second-half covering team, including going 18-0-1 ATS in their last 18 games as an underdog. With Cade Cunningham likely on Doncic for much of the game, look for Brunson to have a higher usage rate and direct more traffic early on before Doncic takes over in the fourth.
Brunson has missed on this number in three of his last four games, but should be in a great position to hit the over this evening. -- Ben Heisler
