There's nothing better than diving into some NBA prop bets for a loaded 10-game slate, and the BetSided team has three of our favorites lined up for you.

We have predictions for Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum, as well as a sneaky play in the first quarter of the Minnesota-Washington matchup. Let's jump into today's picks:

Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Minnesota Timberwolves +0.5 1Q (-115) at Washington Wizards
  • Jayson Tatum OVER 29.5 Points (-120)
  • Kevin Durant OVER 27.5 Points (-113)

Minnesota Timberwolves +0.5 1Q (-115) at Washington Wizards

Until the oddsmakers start adjusting these first quarter lines for the Timberwolves away from home, I'm going to continue to hammer them.

Minnesota thrives in the early going away from Target Center, ranking 1st in the NBA by a wide margin in road net rating (+25.7) to the Milwaukee Bucks (+19.4) in the first 12 minutes.

The Wizards, as Peter Dewey alluded to in his betting preview for this matchup, have been much better at home than on the road, but that hasn't been the case in the early going. Washington ranks just 20th in the first quarter at home (-3.3).

Both teams come off a back-to-back, but with Washington set for some regression, and Minnesota thriving in these spots, I love them as a slight dog here. – Ben Heisler

Jayson Tatum OVER 29.5 Points (-120)

The Boston Celtics sat Jayson Tatum on the first night of a back-to-back against the Washington Wizards, and it’s possible that they give Jaylen Brown the same treatment in this game.

Brown is listed as questionable for Boston with neck stiffness.

The Hornets are one of the worst teams in the NBA this season, and this is a favorable matchup for Tatum, who has three games of 35 or more points in his last five matchups with Charlotte.

Tatum is averaging 30.5 points per game this season, and with Brown potentially out, he could see even more shots than his usual 20.5 per game. I’ll go OVER his points total tonight. – Peter Dewey

Kevin Durant OVER 27.5 Points (-113)

Kevin Durant's number continues to be weighed down because of three straight unders on this total last week, but he has bounced back his last two games with 36 points and 31 on Sunday.

I'm hard pressed to see him not get to 28 or more for a third straight game given his highly efficient shooting and the lack of wings the Orlando Magic have to check him. Orlando is 28th in points allowed per 100 possessions.

Considering KD is taking more than 18 shots per game this month, a standard game for him would have him right around this total -- say 11-for-18 from the field and a handful of free throws. – Reed Wallach
