Kyle Kuzma OVER 15.5 Points (-125)
I think we’re getting a discount here. Kuzma has missed this line in two straight games, but he shot 3-for-13 in the first matchup and only took five shots in his last game.
His volume of shots will go up and his percentage will go up. Kuzma is averaging over 17 points per game this year – and that’s with these two bad games in a young season. He’ll bounce back and get on the board tonight. – Donnavan Smoot
Jeremy Sochan OVER 10.5 Points (-125)
The San Antonio Spurs are going to be short handed on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors with Keldon Johnson, Isaiah Roby and Devin Vassell all listed as out.
That opens the door for first-round pick Jeremy Sochan to continue his solid play after he cleared this line in three straight games.
Sochan has seen his minutes increase from 23 to 28 to 31 in those games, so I expect him to see even more usage with so many key options out of the lineup on Wednesday. – Peter Dewey
Dallas Mavericks 1Q (-2) vs. Utah Jazz (-110)
The Dallas Mavericks have been an elite level team at getting off to good starts this season. They're first in the NBA in first quarter offensive rating (127.4), third in 1Q net rating, and turn the ball over the least of any team in the league (8.9 TOV%).
Utah, for all of its success, has been just the opposite early on in games, ranking 28th in 1Q offensive rating, 25th in 1Q net rating this year, and turns the ball over at the second-highest clip in the first 12 minutes behind only the Houston Rockets.
For what it's worth, I'd bet Dallas to cover at home as well, but I love grabbing the dominant team in the early going to get out to an early lead at home. – Ben Heisler
