The struggling Brooklyn Nets play the second leg of a back-to-back on Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic.

This game is heaven for a prop bettor, as the Nets are one of the worst defenses in the NBA and Dallas features one of the best offenses through the first week and a half of the 2022-23 season.

Here are three props that I have my eye on for the action on Thursday night:

Mavericks vs. Nets Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Luka Doncic OVER 31.5 Points
  • Dallas Mavericks First Quarter Moneyline
  • Royce O’Neale OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Luka Doncic OVER 31.5 Points

This is a pretty simple pick, especially since Luka Doncic has scored 32 or more points in each of his first three games this season.

The Nets have the second worst defensive rating in the NBA this season, and just gave up 40-plus points to Giannis Antetokounmpo last night. You mean to tell me a team already disinterested in playing defense is going to bring it on a back-to-back against one of the game’s best scorers?

No chance. Luka OVER all the way.

Dallas Mavericks First Quarter Moneyline

This is one of the my favorite bets of the night, as the Mavericks have been terrific in first quarters so far this season.

Dallas is averaging 34.0 points per game in the first quarter (second in the NBA) while the Nets are 27th in the league with 24.0 points per game.

To make matters worse, Brooklyn’s starting lineup of Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Royce O’Neale and Nic Claxton is the WORST lineup in the NBA so far this season in terms of net rating.

Dallas should get out to a hot start tonight.

Royce O’Neale OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Royce O’Neale got out to a slow start shooting the ball, but he’s cleared this prop in back-to-back games, going 6-for-16 from beyond the arc.

The volume is certainly there for O’Neale, and given the Nets’ struggles to defend anyone, this should be a high-scoring matchup.

As long as books keep giving us this number at 1.5, O’Neale is worth a look.
