Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 rebounds (+100)
- Will Barton OVER 3.5 Assists (+100)
- Joel Embiid OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-120)
- LeBron James OVER 24.5 Points (-125)
Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 rebounds (+100)
Nikola Jokic has hit double-digit rebounds in all five games since returning from injury. He's also reached 15 boards in two of those five games. At plus-money, this is a fantastic value bet, especially considering the San Antonio Spurs rank in the bottom half of the NBA in rebounding. They grab 49.4% of boards, which ranks 19th in the Association.
Jokic has faced the Spurs once this season back on Oct. 22 and he grabbed a total of 16 boards. If he can come close to repeating that performance, then we have a +100 winner on our hands. -- Iain MacMillan
Will Barton OVER 3.5 Assists (+100)
Will Barton has hit the over on this number in five of his last seven games, and he’s taken on a bigger role as a playmaker this season with Jamal Murray out.
Barton is averaging 4.2 assists per game on the season and he’s seen his usage rate increase to 22.1 percent this season after it was 19.0 percent in the 2020-21 campaign.
I like him at even money to grab four or more dimes on Thursday. -- Peter Dewey
Joel Embiid OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-120)
Something it's good to take the detour off "Narrative Street," and with three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert facing up against Joel Embiid, bettors may be more inclined to lean under on some of his numbers tonight.
When it comes to rebounding, however, I can't love the OVER enough.
In six career games versus Gobert, Embiid averages 12.8 rebounds per game. But if you look a little closer, that number should be higher.
Embiid averaged eight boards in 22.5 minutes in his first two games against the Jazz big man back in 2016 and 2018. But since then, he's tallied 15.25 rebounds on average in his last four games vs. Gobert in just under 35 minutes/game.
With Embiid only playing 32 minutes on the first game of the back-to-back last night in Charlotte, I'm confident he can still reach this number. He's only played one game this year with 0 days rest, but still played 30 minutes and got nine boards. The Sixers will need his presence tonight and I expect a strong performance on the glass. -- Ben Heisler
LeBron James OVER 24.5 Points (-125)
Square? Maybe, but LeBron has been on a tear when on the floor of late, scoring 30 or more points in five of his last six. In this spot I also like the Lakers, who are facing a Grizzlies team on the second night of a back-to-back, so LBJ can take advantage of a tired defense.
This number is shaded towards the over and I'm still playing it, LeBron is averaging nearly 26 points on the year and I see another 30-point outing. -- Reed Wallach
