The BetSided team is looking to bounce back in the NBA prop market on Wednesday, and we have three different plays for you to tail (or fade) tonight.

Ben Heisler has yet another first quarter bet to make, and Peter Dewey and Donnavan Smoot have player props on two of the stars in action.

Let’s get into these picks:

Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Pascal Siakam OVER 24.5 Points (-115)
  • Charlotte Hornets 1Q Team Total UNDER 26.5 (-105)
  • Jordan Poole UNDER 35.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-120)

Pascal Siakam OVER 24.5 Points (-115)

Pascal Siakam has cleared this line in his last two games and has a great chance to do it tonight.

Anthony Davis is likely going to be out of the lineup, which means the Los Angeles Lakers will have a hole in the middle of their defense. The Lakers are also going to be without LeBron James, which means the Siakam is going to be able to run wild in the frontcourt.

With Siakam’s 50/40/80 splits over the last five games, I’ll easily back him tonight. – Donnavan Smoot

Charlotte Hornets 1Q Team Total UNDER 26.5 (-105)

Want to know how bad it's been for the Charlotte Hornets to start games of late?

Over the past month, the Hornets are -31.3 in net rating away from home during the first quarter of games. Their offensive rating is fourth-worst in the league at 102.7, and defensively, they rate at 134.0; third-worst in the NBA away from home.

Over the course of the season, Charlotte is just 3-9 in first starters this year on the road, shooting under 45% from the floor.

Brooklyn, for all its inability to cover the spread at home, has actually been much better at Barclays Center of late.

Over the Nets’ last five home matchups, they're 4-1 in the 1st quarter, with a net rating of +14 and defensive rating of 103.9; top 10 in the NBA for both during that stretch.

Charlotte is a mess to start off games, and has only averaged 22.8 PPG in its last four road matchups. I don't think the Hornets sniff 27 points in the early going tonight, and also have a few bets sprinkled on alternate 1Q totals for the Hornets even below that at plus-odds. – Ben Heisler

Jordan Poole UNDER 35.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-120)

Jordan Poole’s PRA line has jumped in a big way for the Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins out against the Utah Jazz, but I’m fading him in this spot.

Poole has cleared this line in just two games this year, and he needed 30 and 36 points in those games to do so. However, he also has a 30-point game where he still fell short of this line.

In the two games Curry has missed this season, Poole has 26 and 29 PRA in those games. Don’t fall in love with the Warriors guard just because Steph is out and bet the number here. – Peter Dewey
