The Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans are both .500 on the season entering their matchup on Wednesday night.

Chicago has surprisingly been a solid defense this season, ranking fifth in the NBA. The Pels, who started hot this season, have lost back-to-back games heading into this matchup.

Here’s a look at the latest odds:

Pelicans vs. Bulls Odds, Spread and Total

If you’re looking for some prop bets in this game, I have three I am considering, including a play I love for Brandon Ingram:

Pelicans vs. Bulls Best NBA Prop Bets

  • Brandon Ingram OVER 23.5 Points
  • Zion Williamson OVER 35.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • DeMar DeRozan OVER 23.5 Points

Brandon Ingram OVER 23.5 Points

Brandon Ingram has played three games since returning from a concussion, scoring 26, 16 and 29 points in those matchups.

Ingram is taking a ton of shots this season, averaging 17.0 field goal attempts per game, and taking at least 16 shots in every game that he hasn't been injured in.

After taking 24 shots in the team's loss to the Indiana Pacers last time out, Ingram should clear this lower prop number on Wednesday.

Zion Williamson OVER 35.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Zion Williamson has been terrific this season, averaging 23.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Over his last five games he’s been even better, posting three games with at least seven assists.

Over that five-game stretch, Zion has easily cleared this number four times, going for 40, 39, 20, 41 and 43 PRA. The 20 PRA game was a matchup where he played just 28 minutes, so I think he has a big game against a tough Bulls team tonight.

DeMar DeRozan OVER 23.5 Points

For some reason, DeMar DeRozan has taken just nine and six shots in his last two games for the Bulls.

Both of those games came against a tough Toronto Raptors defense, but DeRozan has been a much better scorer than that this season, averaging 23.8 points per game and taking double-digit shots in all but three games.

If DeRozan’s normal usage comes back, he should clear this line on Wednesday.
