Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Collin Sexton UNDER 20.5 Points (-115)
- LaMelo Ball OVER 5.5 Assists vs. Warriors (-125)
- Clint Capela OVER 12 rebounds (-125)
- RJ Barrett OVER 17.5 Points (-125)
Blazers vs. Cavaliers: Collin Sexton UNDER 20.5 Points (-115)
Sexton has been inconsistent to start the season and has only gone over 20 points twice. With Ricky Rubio, Darius Garland and the two young bigs (Evan Mobley and Lauri Markkanen) all becoming bigger factors in the offense, Sexton has taken a back seat. It also doesn’t help that Sexton isn’t a serious threat from behind the arc (24.2%). When he scores over 20 it’s going to be because of volume shooting, and that doesn’t happen as often as it once did. -- Donnavan Smoot
Hornets vs. Warriors: LaMelo Ball OVER 5.5 Assists (-125)
I originally wanted to go with the older Ball and take Lonzo to go OVER 4.5 assists against the Sixers tonight, but with the Bulls sharing the ball as often as they have, I'm pivoting to the youngest Ball brother ahead of tonight's track meet in San Francisco.
Both these two teams are top-5 in pace, and LaMelo has gone above this projected number in every game where he's played at least 27 minutes. If the Hornets are going to hang with the Warriors, they'll need Ball on the floor for a minimum of 30 tonight, especially on the road. -- Ben Heisler
Hawks vs. Nets: Clint Capela OVER 12.0 rebounds (-125)
As talented as the Brooklyn Nets roster is, they're in the bottom 10 in the NBA this season at rebounding percentage, grabbing just 48.8% of boards.
Now they're going up against a Hawks team that ranks 6th in the NBA in rebounding percentage (52.9%), and it's largely due to Clint Capela. Capela has secured at least 12 rebounds in five of his seven starts this season. He also has a game where he only grabbed four, but that came in a loss to the Wizards when he was only on the court for just over 23 minutes. I think he reaches at least 13 in Brooklyn tonight. -- Iain MacMillan
Knicks vs. Pacers: RJ Barrett OVER 17.5 Points (-125)
RJ Barrett has been elite over his last three games, as he’s averaging 27.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 63% from the field and 63% from beyond the arc. Tonight, the New York Knicks take on the Indiana Pacers, a team that Barrett dominated in the 2020-21 season. RJ shot 57.4% from the field and 78.6% from 3 against the Pacers last season while averaging 25.0 points per game. I’m not saying Barrett is going to put up those numbers, but he’s dominated this team in his career and I expect him to ride his hot stretch for another game tonight. -- Peter Dewey
