Eight NBA games on Monday calls for plenty of bets to bet made, but what if you’re only looking to wager on specific players?

Well, the BetSided team has a trio of player props to consider on Monday, including plays for two of the rising stars at the guard position in Anfernee Simons and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Let’s break them down:

Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 42.5 PRA (-102)
  • Anfernee Simons OVER 5.5 Assists (+100)
  • Rudy Gobert OVER 11.5 Points (-124)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 42.5 PRA (-102)

SGA has one of the highest usage rates in the league this season at nearly 33%, and he will get to face a below average New York Knicks defense that has struggled to slow down high usage playmakers all season.

Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging north of 30 points per game, but also nearly six assists as well. With a total above 230 I expect a ton of points in this one and for the budding superstar to have his impact on the game, going over his PRA mark. – Reed Wallach

Anfernee Simons OVER 5.5 Assists (+100)

If you’ve been following the column this season, I’ve been a frequent flier on the Anferenee Simons points prop express, but we’re going in a different direction to back on the NBA’s best young guards.

With Damian Lillard out with a calf strain, Simons is going to have a much bigger role as a playmaker in this game against Milwaukee.

Even though he’s averaging just four assists per game this season, Simons is averaging 7.0 dimes per game when Lillard is out of the lineup, clearing this total in all three games.

Jrue Holiday could make things tough on Simons tonight, so I expect him to get his teammates involved with the Portland Trail Blazers set as major underdogs. – Peter Dewey

Rudy Gobert OVER 11.5 Points (-124)

The Miami Heat are beat up while the Minnesota Timberwolves are finally starting to hit a rhythm. As a result, Gobert has started to head up from the floor, scoring 15-plus points in four of his last five games.

In the last game, a 112-109 win at Philadelphia, Gobert went under, but still finished with 13 rebounds and eight points in the victory. His usage rate was the lowest it's been in the last four games, while his minutes was also at its lowest mark at just over 28.

Both Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are currently listed as questionable for Miami, and if he doesn't play, there's nobody else that can hang with Gobert around the rim. Look for the T'Wolves to feed him early and often and let the big man eat. – Ben Heisler
