Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Suns vs. Clippers (Fade Reggie Jackson on Thursday)
By Peter Dewey
The Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns face off on Thursday night in Los Angeles, and Phoenix is looking to snap a five-game losing streak in this game.
However, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are questionable, which makes things much tougher on the Suns.
With that in mind, I have a few prop bets that I love for this game:
Suns vs. Clippers Best NBA Prop Bets
- Paul George OVER 11.5 Rebounds and Assists
- Reggie Jackson UNDER 19.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
- First Quarter UNDER 53.5 Points
Paul George OVER 11.5 Rebounds and Assists
Paul George has played six games since returning from injury, and he’s been terrific at filling up the stat sheet, clearing this line in four of his six games.
George is averaging 6.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game on the season, but he’s averaging 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists since returning.
The Suns have been terrible on their losing streak, ranking dead last in the NBA in net rating. If Kawhi Leonard sits the second leg of a back-to-back tonight, George should thrive in his place.
Reggie Jackson UNDER 19.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
This line is too high for Reggie Jackson, especially with John Wall expected to play after missing the first game of a back-to-back on Wednesday.
Jackson has cleared this prop line just twice in his last nine games, and he scored 20 or more points in both of those games.
The secondary stats haven’t been there as much for the Clippers point guard in the 2022-23 season. He’s averaging 12.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game which puts him short of this number.
I think he sees a little lower usage with Wall in the lineup on Thursday.
First Quarter UNDER 53.5 Points
I’ve mentioned the Suns’ struggles as of late, and they could drag this game under early if Booker and Ayton end up sitting out.
Both of these teams rank in the top-10 in the NBA in defensive rating in the first quarter this season, and the Clippers are 25th in the NBA in first quarter points per game.
Cam Payne is also out for the Suns, yet another player that the team has relied on to help carry the scoring load this season.
The UNDER is the way to play what should be a defensive battle on Thursday.
