Best NBA Prop Bets Record to Date

Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with all odds via WynnBET:

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 27.5 Points (-105)
  • Bobby Portis OVER 9.5 Rebounds (-125)
  • D'Angelo Russell OVER 20.5 Points (-105)
  • LaMelo Ball OVER 5.5 Rebounds (+100)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 27.5 Points (-105)

One of the biggest keys for me when betting any NBA player prop is opportunity/volume for the player to get to a certain number.

Tonight, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to get all the opportunities he can handle when the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Sacramento Kings. Josh Giddey and Lu Dort are both out for OKC, which means SGA is going to get as many touches as he can handle.

The promising guard has been fantastic since returning from injury after the All-Star break, scoring 32 and 36 points in his two games and attempting 46 shots and 18 free throws over that stretch.

Now, he gets a Kings defense that is 29th in the NBA in defensive rating. SGA dropped 33 the last time these two teams played, and I’d expect a similar game tonight. – Peter Dewey

Bobby Portis OVER 9.5 Rebounds (-125)

Bobby Portis rebounds are quickly becoming one of my favorite player props to bet on in the NBA. He's averaging 9.2 this season, and now he gets to face one of the worst rebounding teams in the Association in the Hornets

Charlotte ranks 29th in rebounding rate, grabbing just 48.3% of boards. Portis reached double-digit boards the last two times he and the Bucks faced the Hornets this season, and I expect a similar result tonight. – Iain MacMillan

D'Angelo Russell OVER 20.5 Points (-105)

Dating back to the start of February, Russell has cleared this in five of nine games and is averaging over 19 points per game on the year. Given his recent form, and the depleted Cavaliers backcourt, this feels like a strong bet.

The Cavs are without Darius Garland and Russell has been hoisting from distance all season long. He has taken no fewer than six 3-pointers in that stretch and I see the volume being there for Russell to get 21-plus yet again in what should be a Wolves win. – Reed Wallach

LaMelo Ball OVER 5.5 Rebounds (+100)

It's been a rough go for LaMelo and the Hornets; losers of 10 of their last 12 games including a one-point buzzer beating loss at home to Kelly Olynyk and the Detroit Pistons.

They now head out to Milwaukee as a double-digit underdog to try and run with another high-paced team in the Bucks.

Uptempo matchups play into Ball's strengths all over the court. With both teams top 2 (Charlotte) and top 6 in pace (Milwaukee), there's plenty of missed possessions for Ball to be right by the rim. Milwaukee being top 5 in rebounding percentage, mixed with their length is potentially why more action is on the under, but Ball has cleared the over in four straight games, two of which have come against Toronto and Miami who rank 26th and 28th in pace.

The odds may hint that this isn't the day for LaMelo, but they'll need his presence on the court to have any chance tonight, especially off a brutal loss Sunday night. -- Ben Heisler
