The Golden State Warriors are resting several key players on Monday when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans, as Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are all listed as out on the second night of a back-to-back.

How does this affect prop betting for this game? Here are three ways you can bet on the Warriors-Pelicans matchup:

Warriors vs. Pelicans Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Pelicans Second Quarter -2.5
  • Zion Williamson UNDER 24.5 Points
  • Andrew Wiggins OVER 17.5 Points

Pelicans Second Quarter -2.5

If there’s one way to fade the Warriors, it’s when Steph Curry is out of the game. This season, Curry has a on/off net rating of +25.6, because the Warriors are a shocking -17.4 points per 100 possessions when he’s off the floor.

Just look at what happened on Sunday night against the Houston Rockets:

The Warriors ended up going into halftime down four points. So, imagine how the Warriors will play without Curry on the floor at all?

I’ll wait till the second quarter to take the Pels, since Jordan Poole or Andrew Wiggins may be getting a breather at that time.

Zion Williamson UNDER 24.5 Points

This isn’t as much of a fade of Zion Wiliamson as you think it is, as he’s making his return from an injury tonight.

The Warriors are resting too many key players to truly compete with Pels team, especially when you realize Golden State is 1-8 on the road this season.

I don’t expect New Orleans to over exert Zion in this game if it doesn’t need to, which could lead to him falling short of this total.

Andrew Wiggins OVER 17.5 Points

Andrew Wiggins is questionable for this game, but if he does suit up, he’s going to be the No. 1 option for Golden State on offense.

Wiggins is already averaging 18.4 points per game this season, and we’d have to imagine his shots increase with Curry and Thompson sidelined.

I love the OVER here for Wiggins, provided he’s in the lineup.
