This year in the NBA, road teams covering at a 51.1% rate. While it's not in the profitable range, it's still interesting to see nullify home court advantage.

Yesterday I went through the five best teams to bet against the spread on at home. Today, we'll check out the other side and look at the five best teams in the league that bettors should look at on the road.

Who Are the Best NBA Team Against the Spread on the Road?

Memphis Grizzlies (19-8  ATS)

The Grizzlies are the best team ATS in the league and they are also one of the five best home teams ATS, so this makes sense. The Grizzlies are winning close games on the road, with an average margin of victory of 1.4 points. Yet, they are clearing the spread by an average of 3.2 points per game. Memphis should be looked at as a legitimate contender, especially because they can get the job done anywhere.

Oklahoma City Thunder (17-10 ATS)

The Thunder were also one of the best ATS teams at home and the reasoning behind it holds up on the road as well. The Thunder are often undervalued and made to be large underdogs -- especially on the road. The spread record looks good, but they still aren't a good team. They are losing road games by an average of just over nine points per game. Yet when it comes to the spread, everything is averaging out, with their margin of victory ATS at 0.0.

Phoenix Suns (17-10 ATS)

The Suns, despite having the best record in the league, aren't as good at home as they are on the road. Phoenix is coming off a big road win against the Sixers, which they covered in. The Suns are winning their road games by an average of 6.9 points. This record might be the most impressive because of their overall record. Phoenix is going to be the favorite in nearly every game they play this year. The fact they can be in the top 5 is impressive and speaks to how great of a team they are.

Cleveland Cavaliers (16-10-2 ATS)

The Cavaliers haven't been as dominant against the spread overall since the start of the season, but they can still get it done away from Cleveland. The Cavaliers are 1-3-1 ATS on the road in their last five games, and might see a dip with Darius Garland possibly being out of the lineup. However, with Caris LeVert joining the team, this should be a good opportunity for the Cavs to get back to normal.

Toronto Raptors (14-9-1 ATS)

The Raptors are killing the game right now. They are on a six-game winning streak and have covered in each one. Three of those games have been on the road, boosting this record into the top five. The Raptors are taking advantage of low spreads, with big wins not needed to cover. As long as the Raptors are seen as one of the average teams in the league, they'll be a great bet.
