This year in the NBA, home teams are only covering at a 48.9% rate. While it's close to 50%, it's still less than what you'd think. Does homecourt advantage not matter anymore?

For some teams, it does. It may be hard to trust the league as a whole to cover at home, but here are the five best teams in the league that get the job done in their own arena.

Chicago Bulls (18-9 ATS)

Even with all the injuries and losses, the Bulls have still managed to cover at a consistent rate, especially at home. The Bulls have been carried by DeMar DeRozan since Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and Zach LaVine started to go in and out of the lineup. He's been able to keep them competitive, even in the losses.

Last night, the Bulls were close to getting blown out with two minutes left and somehow made it a game in the final two minutes. Those types of gritty performances make the Bulls a great bet at the United Center.

Oklahoma City (15-8-3 ATS)

The Thunder are the most surprising team on here, considering they are one of the worst overall record in the league. However, much of this is caused by the Thunder routinely being double-digit underdogs. Oklahoma City is 11-4-1 as a double-digit underdog this season. That's outstanding for a team as talent deficient as they are. The Thunder might not be one of the league's elite, but Chesapeake Arena still gives them one of the best boosts in the league.

Cleveland (16-9-1 ATS)

The Cavaliers are one of the surprise teams in the league and a lot of it is because of their performance at home. The Cavaliers are also taking advantage of being the underdog. They are 7-3 ATS as home underdogs this year. They know how to use that extra motivation and keep the wins coming in.

Golden State (17-10-2 ATS)

The Warriors have had one of the best homecourt advantages for years, and this year is no different. Golden State has done this, despite having 12 games at home as double-digit favorites. The Warriors are one of the best bets in the league. They cover, protect homecourt and are top 5 in hitting the under. This is just another sign of how great -- and dangerous -- the Warriors are

Memphis (17-11 ATS)

The Grizzlies are the best team ATS in the league, so it's no surprise they are in the top 5 of home ATS records. The only thing more shocking is that their road record is better than their home record. With Ja Morant leading the Grizz, they embody the "Grit N' Grind" spirit of old, but still have offensive firepower. Memphis is 0.2 points away from being in the top 5 in offensive rating. The Grizzlies can blow anyone out on any night, and that makes them a scary team.
