Josh McDaniels has done it again.

The longtime right-hand offensive coordinator to Bill Belichick took over a team, didn't win, and then ran out the franchise quarterback.

He did it with Jay Cutler in his first head coaching stint with the Denver Broncos, and now Derek Carr is out as the starting quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders. They’ll look to move Carr in the offseason, but now, the 6-9 Raiders will start Jarrett Stidham against the red-hot San Francisco 49ers despite not being mathematically eliminated from postseason play.

The 49ers are still riding with Brock Purdy and he’s carrying them right into the postseason, along with the No. 1 defense in the NFL.

It used to be a rivalry out in the bay area, but now today's matchup takes place in Vegas. BetSided's Iain MacMillan breaks down his best bet for today's game here, but I've got some prop bets if you're looking for a different kind of wager:

Best NFL Prop Bets for 49ers vs. Raiders

  • Josh Jacobs UNDER 56.5 Rush Yards (-110)
  • Brock Purdy OVER 1.5 Touchdown Passes (+108)
  • George Kittle OVER 46.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Josh Jacobs Under 56.5 Rush Yards

Jacobs has been one of the best running backs in the NFL this season, but last week he was bottled up by Pittsburgh. The Steelers held him to 44 yards on 15 carries and Pittsburgh doesn’t have nearly the run defense that the 49ers have. San Fran is giving up just 75 rush yards per game this year.

Brock Purdy Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes

Brock Purdy just keeps playing well and throwing touchdown passes. He’s thrown two in each of his four games this year.

Kyle Shanahan’s offense is capable of elevating pretty much any quarterback, but Purdy has played well enough to prove that he’s not just another backup QB. Maybe his destiny is ultimately holding a clipboard, but he might just win some playoff games for the Niners this season.

George Kittle Over 46.5 Receiving Yards

The Raiders have been pretty susceptible tight ends this season and last week was no different. Pat Freirmuth had six catches for 66 yards last week, and with Deebo Samuel out again for San Fran, Kittle will need to be involved in the passing attack.
