The Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills will not play in several feet of snow as initially expected this week, as the NFL moved the matchup to Ford Field in Detroit.

Once the NFL made the change, the over/under for today's matchup radically shifted. The total was set near 41.5 with the expectation of playing in the snow. Now that the game is indoors on the turf, we're back up to a total approaching 51 at several sportsbooks; nearly a 10-point swing!

Here's how the latest odds stack up playing in the dome away from home, rather than at Highland Field in snowy Buffalo.

BetSided's Josh Yourish already broke down his betting plays for today's action, so let's take a look a three different available player props on the board I like as an additional wagering option.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Browns vs. Bills

  • Nick Chubb Longest Rush OVER 17.5 Yards
  • Isaiah McKenzie OVER 2.5 Receptions
  • Josh Allen Anytime TD Scorer

Nick Chubb Longest Rush OVER 17.5 Yards

The Browns don't have many statistical advantages over this Bills' team, but they do have one in the running game, and would be silly not to take advantage of it in indoor conditions at the dome.

Enter Nick Chubb, the NFL's third-leading rusher with 904 total rushing yards this year, including 10 games with a run of 20-plus yards or more. Via Sharp Football Analysis, Chubb has a 20-plus yard run in 12 of his last 13 games, going back to the 2021 season.

The Browns rank sixth in yards/rush this year, compared to Buffalo who ranks middle of the pack at 14th. With Chubb an intergral part of the gameplan, look for them to feed him early and often with a great shot to break a long run yet again.

Isaiah McKenzie OVER 2.5 Receptions

McKenzie has a very opportunistic matchup this week vs. a Browns defense that's had all sorts of issues in the passing game.

Pro Football Focus' Ian Hartitz highlights that McKenzie ran a route on 80% of Josh Allen's passing attempts last week vs. the Minnesota Vikings, and now faces a defense without first round corner Greg Newsome, who had been occupying the slot for Cleveland.

After a ton of targets early, McKenzie fell off the map the last few weeks vs. Green Bay and the New York Jets. Last week should be an indicator of his involvement continuing to grow back into the offense.

Josh Allen Anytime TD Scorer

Josh Allen doesn't need a confidence boost, but fumbling the snap in his own end zone a week ago to cough up the game for Buffalo certainly didn't help. Therefore, I can't help but expect head coach Sean McDermott to get the ball back in Allen's hands as a runner in an ideal matchup on the turf.

The Bills quarterback has four rushing touchdowns this season, and is averaging 85 rushing yards in his last two games. If they find themselves in a goalline spot, they won't hesitate to change the narrative from a quarterback who can't handle the snap, to a QB that snaps it and sneaks it in for six.
