Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase haven’t been back to the Superdome in New Orleans since their National Championship win at LSU. They’re back this week, but they might not have the same kind of team around them. Can these former LSU Tigers turned Cincinnati Bengals have a big game back in Louisiana or will the Saints shut them down.

Best Prop Bets For Bengals vs. Saints

  • Joe Burrow Under 252.5 Pass Yards (-115)
  • Jamar Chase Longest Reception Under 26.5 Yards (-115)
  • Taysom Hill Anytime Touchdown (+175)

Joe Burrow Under 252.5 Pass Yards (-115)

I know that Burrow is coming back to the place he won a Natty and that has to be worth something. Maybe it will remind him of how good he can be as a quarterback, but this Cincinnati offense does not look the same at all this season. Deep passing is not reliable in the NFL it is hard to be hyper successful as a deep passer for long stretches. Last year he was incredible and it just hasn’t been there. Also his average depth of target was 8.7 in his rookie season and 8.5 last year. In 2022, it is 7.5.

Jamar Chase Longest Reception Under 26.5 yards (-115)

The deep passing troubles are not contained to just Joe Burrow. Chase is suffering too. They haven’t really been able to connect and Chase’s longest reception this year is 36 yards. He is also averaging 10.7 yards per reception compared to 18.0 yards per reception this season. The regression of their offense is the biggest reason that I like the Saints as a home underdog this year.

Taysom Hill Anytime Touchdown (+175)

I have been riding this bet every week since Jameis Winston went out with an injury in Week 4 when the Saints played in London. Hill has cashed it both times and there is no reason to go away even though the odds have come down some. Winston is still listed as doubtful, but even if he does go I think Hill will be the red zone QB.
