Best NFL Prop Bets for Bills vs. Lions on Thanksgiving Day in Week 12
The Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions kick off the Thanksgiving Day slate from the Motor City.
The Bills have had themselves a week, traveling to Detroit to play the Browns after six feet of snow fell in Buffalo. Now, they’ll have a short week to prepare for a Lions team that has won three in a row, travelling back to the same stadium where they were the "home team" in Week 11.
It’s Thanksgiving, so you know everyone is gunning for the Turkey Bowl MVP. Here are a few player props to bet on in the first game of the day.
Best Prop Bets For Bills-Lions
- Gabe Davis Anytime TD
- James Cook OVER 5.5 Rushing Attempts
- Jared Goff UNDER 241.5 Passing Yards
Gabe Davis Anytime TD
Davis is a touchdown machine. He seems to be the one that always makes the big play and can take the top off the defense at any time. He’s seen 17 targets over the last two games, which is clearly a great sign.
The Lions have one of the worst passing defenses in the league. If Josh Allen and the Bills come prepared, touchdowns shouldn’t be hard to come by.
James Cook Over 5.5 Rushing Attempts
Cook got 11 carries last week, and they weren’t complete garbage time carries. The Bills have leaned more on the run over the last three weeks, increasing the number of carries by nearly three carries per game.
I anticipate the Bills being up by a lot in this game, so Cook may be able to run out the clock in the fourth quarter.
Jared Goff UNDER 241.5 Passing Yards
Goff has come under this line in five of his last six games and now has to go up against one of the best defenses in the league. The Bills are 8th in the league in opponent yards per pass and first in opponent interceptions thrown.
If they can shut down Jamaal Williams and D’Andre Swift early, Goff will be locked up all day.
