The Trace McSorley experience wasn’t exactly what Kliff Kingsbury had hoped, as the Arizona Cardinals head coach turns to veteran David Blough as his new starting quarterback for their road matchup vs. the Atlanta Falcons.

Blough last took regular season snaps in 2020 for the Lions and he’ll be up against the high-powered Falcons and Desmond Ridder who is yet to throw or run for his first NFL touchdown.

I don’t think we’ll be getting a shootout in Atlanta, but I still have some props that I like in this one. Here are my three favorites.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Cardinals vs. Falcons

  • First Half Under 20 (+100)
  • Desmond Ridder Under 172.5 Pass Yards (-114)
  • Drake London Under 56.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

First Half Under 20 (+100)

David Blough v. Desmond Ridder doesn’t really sound like a heavyweight title fight to me. It might not even be worthy of an undercard. Ridder looked better last week, but strikes no fear into opposing defenses, and Tom Brady struggled to score against Arizona last week. Maybe things will break down later in the game, but the Cardinals have been bad in the first half all season, one of the worst teams in the league and that isn’t going to get better with David Blough.

Desmond Ridder Under 172.5 Pass Yards (-114)

Ridder looked better against Baltimore and threw for over 200 yards, but that’s not going to be a regular occurrence to close out the season. He hasn’t looked like a polished passer and is only averaging 5.3 yards per attempt. Last week his average depth of target was even worse than the week prior when he finished with only 97 yards passing, 6.3 compared to 9.4.

A lot of underneath stuff against shell coverages when Baltimore had a late lead accounted for his yardage.

Drake London Under 56.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

If Ridder isn’t going to throw for a lot of yardage, then I won’t project success for his No. 1 target. Arizona doesn't have a lockdown corner to blanket London, but Mike Evans only had 3 catches for 29 yards last week and he’s a similar receiver, a big, physical, downfield threat.
