We’ve all seen the commercials by now, this weekend is "National Tight Ends Day” and the Fox Game of the Week features Travis Kelce and the Chiefs against George Kittle and the 49ers with Greg Olsen on the call. So for our Week 7 prop bets you know we had to back two of the best tight ends in the NFL.

Kansas City is 4-2 as they head into San Francisco to face the 3-3 49ers and newly acquired running back, Christian McCaffrey. This should be clearly the most fun game of the week with a few of the better teams on bye, so let’s not just bet the game, let’s load up on some fun props too.

Best Prop Bets for Chiefs vs. 49ers

  • George Kittle Anytime TD (+190)
  • Travis Kelce Anytime TD (-110)
  • Deebo Samuel Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

George Kittle Anytime TD (+190)

George Kittle has yet to find the end zone this year and that won’t last long especially at the target volume he is starting to see. Last week against Atlanta, Kittle saw 10 targets from Jimmy G and reeled in 8 catches for 83 yards, by far his best game of the season.

Kittle's production has been on a steady climb throughout the four games he’s been on the field. Even if he doesn’t get a red zone target, the KC defense isn’t exactly known for stellar tackling, so he could find a way into the end zone on a long catch and run.

Travis Kelce Anytime TD (-110)

Kelce has 41 catches for 455 yards and seven touchdowns this season. That’s freakish from a tight end at this point of the year.

Kittle might epitomize tight end day a bit more with his physicality and blocking, but Kelce is the best pass catching tight end of all time and he’s going to shine this week. Plus, Patrick Mahomes strikes me as the type of guy who would try to get Kelce a touchdown because it’s tight end day. Football is just so easy for Mahomes that he’d give himself that type of challenge.

Deebo Samuel Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

You might be thinking; Josh why did you mention the trade for McCaffrey if you’re not going to feature him in your prop bets? Well the answer is that I am. This is purely because of McCaffrey’s arrival. He may not be ready to play this weekend, but Samuel will transition back to a typical wide receiver starts this weekend, which means factoring more in the passing game.
