The Kansas City Chiefs are 10-3 after getting themselves into a bit of a shootout with the Broncos last week. If the Chiefs defense is going to let Denver score on them, then anybody can, even the Houston Texans.

Whether it’s Davis Mills or Jeff Driskel at quarterback, they’ve got a shot and that makes for some fun prop bets this week. I’ve put together my three favorites for Chiefs and Texans in Week 15.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Chiefs vs. Texans

  • Isaih Pacheco Over 68.5 Rush Yards (-120)
  • Travis Kelce Over 1.5 Touchdowns (+330)
  • Ka’imi Fairbairn Over 1.5 Made Field Goals (+130)

Isaih Pacheco Over 68.5 Rush Yards

Andy Reid isn’t a big fan of running the ball and we all know that. Why would you be if you had Patrick Mahomes at quarterback? But the Texans are so bad against the run that Mahomes is going to have to hand the ball off in this one, especially if the Chiefs get out to a big lead. Pacheco is the lead back for the Chiefs, that has been established over this year. He had 13 carries for 70 yards last week against the Broncos. The Texans have the worst run defense in the NFL, allowing 165.8 rush yards a game.

Travis Kelce Over 1.5 Touchdowns

Kelce hasn’t had a touchdown in three weeks and that’s a considerable drought for the best tight end in football. He might be the best red zone threat in the entire league, and I don’t know what Houston’s answer will be for him. It feels like anytime there’s a Chiefs blowout or a chance for a big offensive game, Mahomes makes sure to take care of his No. 1 target and keep him happy with some touchdowns. That’ll be the case this week.

Ka’imi Fairbairn Over 1.5 Made Field Goals

Russell Wilson looked like a competent quarterback against the Chiefs last week. That’s the worst thing you could say about a defense - that Wilson looked good against them. If he could move the ball and put up 28 points, then the Texans will be able to, I just don’t think they’ll punch the ball in the end zone very often when they’re inside the 40.
