Best NFL Prop Bets for Colts vs. Vikings in Week 15 (Matt Ryan To Torch Vikings Secondary)
By Josh Yourish
Jeff Saturday on Saturday could make for a very weird game to start a long weekend of football. The Minnesota Vikings lost their third game of the year last week and look to bounce back against the 4-8-1 Colts. We’re not focused on who’s winning this game, we’re just looking for some value in the prop market and I’ve put together three great props for the early game on Saturday. Let’s get right into my bets for Colts and Vikings.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Colts vs. Vikings
- Dalvin Cook Over 70.5 Rush Yards (-110)
- Matt Ryan Over 250.5 Pass Yards (-114)
- Alec Pierce Anytime Touchdown +350
Dalvin Cook Over 70.5 Rush Yards (-110)
The Vikings did not run the ball last week really at all and that was a problem in their loss. Pretty much any football coach will want to establish the run after their back only had 23 yards on 15 carries a week ago. The Colts are one of the better defenses in football against the pass, so I’d expect Minnesota to rededicate themselves to Cook and the run game.
Matt Ryan Over 250.5 Pass Yards (-114)
The Colts should not dedicate themselves to running the ball in this game. The Vikings allow nearly 300 yards passing per game, the most in football. Indy doesn’t have a good passing game, but even a washed up Matt Ryan will be able to move the ball against this secondary.
Alec Pierce Anytime Touchdown +350
The rookie from Cincinnati is emerging for the Colts and that’s one of the bright spots in a rather bleak season. Two weeks ago, Pierce was the leading receiver with four grabs for 86 yards and a touchdown against Dallas. At 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds, Pierce has been solid on 50/50 balls and if Ryan gives him a chance in the red zone he could haul another one in.
