Have the Jaguars officially arrived? Is this team going to scratch and claw their way into the playoffs? Will Trevor Lawrence be an MVP candidate next year and one of the best quarterbacks in the league now?

That’s all on the table after the Jaguars beat the Titans last week, but this team has been up and down all year, so it might not be time to trust in Jacksonville. I’m fading them against one of the best pass defenses in the league, but if you’re a believer then maybe you want to take the other side of these prop bets I’ve put together.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Cowboys vs. Jaguars

  • Trevor Lawrence Under 250.5 Pass Yards (-114)
  • Zay Jones Under 55.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • CeeDee Lamb Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Trevor Lawrence Under 250.5 Pass Yards (-114)

Lawrence has played incredibly well in two of his last three games. He diced up the Ravens in the fourth quarter three weeks ago and shredded the Titans secondary last week. In between was an absolute disaster against Detroit that the Jaguars lost 40-14. Those successful games came against two of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Yes Detroit is also bad statistically defending the pass, but they’ve been much better lately. I think Lawrence is going to be a great quarterback, but right now he’s beating up on bad defenses and Dallas is No. 2 in the NFL in passing yards allowed.

Zay Jones Under 55.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The same principle applies. If Lawrence is going to struggle then Jones won’t have a great game either. Jones has become Lawrence’s No. 1 receiver and that emergence has helped the quarterback improve, but it’s not happening this week.

CeeDee Lamb Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

On the other hand, Dallas should have a big day. Dak Prescott did not play well against Houston last week and the questions around this team are all about Prescott and if he can win in the postseason. Well, he’ll need his No. 1 receiver to play well to answer those questions. Lamb is an excellent receiver who seems to play better in the big games. He always shows up in primetime and while this game is in the early block, Fox has their No. 1 team in Jacksonville and that means big things from Lamb.
