Best NFL Prop Bets for Dolphins vs. Lions in NFL Week 8 (Trust Receivers To Run Wild)
The Miami Dolphins are healthy again, and have a chance to bolster their record against the 1-5 Detroit Lions. This is a matchup of one of the more explosive offenses in the league against one of the worst defenses in the league.
With big time receivers on both sides of the ball, let’s dive into their props for this game.
Best Prop Bets For Dolphins-Lions
- Jaylen Waddle OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards
- Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime TD
- Tyreek Hill OVER 90.5 Receiving Yards
Jaylen Waddle OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards
Waddle has cleared this line in each of his last two games, and this week is setting up to be another great matchup for him. The Lions have the worst defense in the NFL. They are 31st in opponent yards per pass and give up nearly 250 passing yards per game. The only reason that number isn’t higher is because teams can run it all over them. With Tua Tagovailoa back, Waddle has a quarterback he can trust and has a good connection with.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime TD
It’s been a tough few weeks for the Sun God. He’s been inactive for a few games, had a bad game against the Patriots and got hurt early in the game last week. He’s good to go this week and I expect the Lions to get the ball to him early and often. When he’s been on the field for the whole game, he’s been a difference maker. Detroit’s passing game needs some life and St. Brown is the boost it needs.
Tyreek Hill OVER 84.5 Receiving Yards
Like I said with Waddle, this is a match made in Heaven. The Lions can’t defend and I’m expecting one of the most dangerous weapons in all of football to have himself a day. Hill has cleared this line in four games this season. Expect Hill to break at least one big play and get a majority of his yardage there.
