Best NFL Prop Bets for Falcons vs. Commanders in Week 12 (Taylor Heinicke Magic Continues Against a Weak Falcons D)

The Washington Commanders are 6-5. This team that looked like another Carson Wentz disaster went to Taylor Heinicke and he has saved their season. Now, they’re firmly in the playoff hunt and ahead of the 5-6 Atlanta Falcons.
Heinicke is one of the most fun players in the NFL and last year against Atlanta he had some serious late-game heroics. Maybe we should back him in the prop market this week. Let’s take a look at a couple of the most valuable prop bets out there.

- Taylor Heinicke Over 211.5 Pass Yards
- Terry McLaurin Over 60.5 Receiving Yards
- Marcus Mariota Under 158.5 Pass Yards
Taylor Heinicke Over 211.5 Pass Yards
Heinicke threw a last-minute touchdown to J.D. McKissic beat the Falcons in Week 4 last year. This year, he will have a good performance against the Falcons poor pass defense. They are 28th against the pass and have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL outside of AJ Terrell.
Terry McLaurin Over 60.5 Receiving Yards
McLaurin might draw AJ Terrell this week and that could be an issue. Yet if Heinicke is going to throw for 211 or more yards, then his No. 1 receiver will have to have a big game. Scary Terry has been at his best since Heinicke took over against Green Bay. He has gone over this total in three of those five games with two games over 100 yards receiving.
Marcus Mariota Under 161.5 Pass Yards
Mariota has looked awful a few times this year, notably on Thursday Night Football two weeks ago. He has gone under this total in six of his last eight games and now Kyle Pitts is on IR. The Commanders have a good defense. They have bad cornerbacks, but their front seven regularly generates pressure and Chase Young will finally be back on the field this week.
