Best NFL Prop Bets for Giants vs. Jaguars in Week 7 (Travis Etienne is a Home Run Hitter for Jacksonville)
By Josh Yourish
This is the biggest trap line on the NFL slate this week and maybe the biggest trap we’ve seen this year. Vegas is dying for everyone to take 5-1 New York as a three point underdog in Jacksonville against the 2-4 Jaguars. I’m on Jacksonville this week, but if you don’t have the stomach for it, or just want some more action then here are my favorite props for this one.
Best Props for Giants vs. Jaguars
- Travis Etienne Long Rush Over 15.5 (-114) and Long Reception Over 9.5 (-114) Parlay: (+252)
- Trevor Lawrence Pass Yards Under 225.5(-120)
- Daniel Bellinger Anytime Touchdown +350
Travis Etienne Long Rush Over 15.5 (-114) and Long Reception Over 9.5 (-114) Parlay: (+252)
The Giants defense has been good enough for the team to get to 5-1, but they have certainly been susceptible to big plays on the ground. The Giants allow 5.6 yards per carry which is worst in the NFL and Travis Etienne is the big hitter in this backfield. James Robinson has been getting more volume typically, but Etienne can hit a home run anytime he touches the ball and I think he might go long a few times today.
Trevor Lawrence Pass Yards Under 225.5 (-120)
If Etienne and Robinson hit big runs on the ground then it might not fall on Trevor Lawrence’s shoulders. I think Jacksonville wins as a favorite at home and they will play with a lead much of the day. The Jags will stop the run and run the ball on offense.
Daniel Bellinger anytime touchdown +350
Bellinger leads the team in touchdown receptions with two this season and is clearly emerging as the top red zone threat. He might even be Daniel Jones’ top target anywhere on the field soon. Bellinger has the third most catches on the team, Saquon Barkley is their reception leader, and last week Bellinger led New York with five catches.
